FAQs
What if this doesn’t work for my child?
Many parents wonder “what if this doesn’t work for my child?” I asked the same question. Every child is different and that is why working one on one is so important. We will customize your sleep plan to fit your parenting style and address your family’s needs and goals. I will be with you every step of the way until you reach those goals and get your little one sleeping great.
What about crying?
You can and should expect some protesting from your little one, after all, change is hard. I use many different methods to help teach your little one how to be a great sleeper and “cry it out is NOT one of them. Together we will design a plan that you are comfortable with, that is centered around your sleep goals and your parenting philosophy.
What about illness or teething?
Children go through a variety of developmental changes that can cause minor issues with sleep. Most of these are not cause for concern or postponement of training. Infact, these are often the moments when training is the most helpful. By filling out a detailed questionnaire and reviewing the personalized sleep plan, we should be able to eliminate any major issues that might arise to impact the training, however if something comes up that causes us to postpone the training due to illness etc, we will work together to make sure that we can start or continue the program when any major issues have been resolved.
What if we have to suspend the training for some reason?
There are a few circumstances that can arise that might cause us to suspend training. We will discuss this during our consultation. Ensuring client success is my utmost priority and we will work together to make sure you leave satisfied and well rested!
How long does it take?
If I told you that in 2 weeks, your baby would be fast asleep by 7:30pm and sleeping 10+ hours a night would you believe me? You should because it is POSSIBLE! Most of my clients see a dramatic improvement in length and quality of their nighttime sleep in just 3 nights. And although every child and every family is different, The Sleep Sense™ Method has helped 100,000 families and counting. By the end of our 2 weeks together, you will see changes you didn’t think were possible but rest assured, I won’t give up until you achieve the success you are looking for.

Every family and every child is different. What sets us apart is that we design customized programs for you that identify your needs and help you reach your goals. This service is very personalized and includes a great deal of one on one support and time. The ongoing support is what truly makes the difference. Having someone there every step of the way to answer any questions that arise and help you through any roadblocks or tough days or nights along the way. We are in this together. Think of it as an investment in your child’s lifelong sleep habits. I can assure you that these packages are life changing services for your whole family.
Is it selfish to try and encourage your child to sleep independently?
If you consider that consolidating sleep is essential for memory, brain and skill development then I would encourage you to think of sleep training as a gift to your little one. As for parents, sleep allows us to be the best versions of ourselves for our families, giving us the patience and energy we need to take on this incredibly important job. When your family is getting the sleep they need, you will find that the days are filled with more joy, curiosity and enthusiasm from both baby and parents.
